Анотація
У статті визначено основні напрями досліджень преси Великої Британії, які проводять українські науковці від часу здобуття незалежності України, виокремлено головні об’єкти наукового зацікавлення дослідників, охарактеризовано тематику наукових публікацій та окреслено перспективи для здійснення таких досліджень. Прицільну увагу приділено пресознавчому дискурсу, де предметом дослідження є особливості функціонування системи преси та певних її аспектів, основних тенденцій розвитку та застосування конкретного практичного інструментарію.
