Анотація

У статті розглянуто історію виникнення фактчекінгу, методи маніпуляції, інструменти для верифікації інформації. Акцентовано увагу на проблемі фактчекінгу в Україні, описані прийоми функціонування чотирьох українських фактчекінгових порталів «Слово і діло», VoxUkraine, FactCheck-Ukraine, Stopfake.org. Наведені ознаки, які вказують на неправдивість інформації. Аналіз контенту сайтів дав можливість уточнити формулювання поняття «фактчекінг» та «верифікація» і навести головні ознаки, які вказують на необхідність перевірки даних.
