Abstract

Based on the archival materials of the famous Ukrainian scientist and writer Hryhoriy Nudga, the presented publications show his activities as a museologist, poet, and public figure. For the first time, a collection of poems prepared by him for publication by his sister Paraska Nudga, a collective farmer from the village of Artyukhovka, Romensky district, Sumy region, who also suffered cruel oppression by local authorities, but did not betray the traditions of her Cossack family, is being published. These materials add a lot of new information about the Cossack family of Levko Nudga and his son Anton Nudga and characterize Levko’s grandchildren and Anton’s son and daughter Hryhoriy and Paraska as a model of the continuity of the principles of national resilience, devotion to one’s family and people, as a model of their continuation and affirmation in new generations of Ukrainians.
