Abstract
Introduction. Modern radio space in the information environment system acquires special significance in the conditions of military-political transformations and intensive information counteraction. Radio broadcasting in Ukraine functions not only as a channel of operational information, but also as a structural element of national information security and social stability.
Research relevance. In the conditions of martial law, the radio space of Ukraine has undergone profound structural and functional transformations that require systematic scientific understanding. Radio restores the position of a communication channel and an effective tool for ensuring the information stability of society. In this context, the analysis of changes in the thematic model of the airwaves, mechanisms for adapting the media to the challenges of information warfare and their role in the processes of social consolidation acquires special significance. The purpose of the study: to determine the functional significance of thematic reconfiguration of the airwaves in the system of crisis communications.
Research Methods. The methodological basis is a structural-functional approach, comparative analysis (pre-war and war periods), quantitative and qualitative content analysis of Ukrainian radio station programs, elements of discourse analysis of military issues. The empirical base covers a sample of programs of the public and commercial segments of radio broadcasting.
Results. In the context of transformations of the information environment of Ukraine, thematic reconfiguration of the radio airwaves appears as a natural reaction of the media system to military-political challenges and changes in the communicative needs of society. The change in the genre thematics of the airwaves reflects the adaptation of radio broadcasting to the crisis communication regime, within which efficiency, reliability and semantic interpretation of events become key.
Conclusions. Thematic reconfiguration of the radio airwaves acquires functional significance as a mechanism for the operational adaptation of the media system to the conditions of military-political instability and information counteraction. Restructuring the genre-thematic structure of broadcasting integrates informational and analytical components into a single communicative model aimed at maintaining public trust and reducing destructive informational influences.
