Abstract
Introduction. The article examines the specific features of the transformation of internet communication as an important component of the information society. It identifies changes in the organization, forms, and means of network interaction resulting from the development of digital technologies and communication platforms, as well as the growing role of users in the information environment.
Relevance of the study. The relevance of the study is determined by the rapid digitalization of the communicative environment, which has led to ongoing structural, functional, and sociocul-tural changes in online communication. The aim of the article is to analyze the specific features of the transformation of contemporary internet communication and to identify the main trends and challenges accompanying its development in the digital environment.
Methodology. The study combines theoretical and empirical methods. Generalization and systematization are used to identify the main directions of transformation in digital communication; the comparative method is applied to compare traditional and network communication; observation is used to examine users’ communicative behavior; and content analysis of posts and comments in local Telegram channels is conducted to identify contemporary linguistic, sociocul-tural, and psychological manifestations of transformational processes.
Results. The study demonstrates that contemporary internet communication is characterized by changes in interaction patterns, content organization, and the roles of participants. Analysis of local Telegram channels reveals increased personalization and emotionality of communication, active interaction among users, transformations in language practices, and the blurring of boundaries between private and public communication. At the same time, the digitalization of the communicative environment is accompanied by new challenges related to information reliability, manipulative influence, and social aggression.
Conclusions. The novelty of the research lies in identifying the main vectors of transformation in modern internet communication based on empirical material from local Telegram channels. Shifts in the modes of information presentation, the linguistic structuring of posts, and the nature of user interaction have been established.
