The peer-reviewed scholarly journal Obraz is committed to protecting your personal information and properly handling the information collected concerning your privacy.

Suppose you are an author and want to submit a manuscript for review by the editor and reviewers with the possibility of further publication in the journal and posting it on the website. In that case, we ask you to provide the following information by the accepted standards of publication: your surname, name and patronymic, academic degree, academic title, place of work (name, complete address), position, telephone number (optional), email address, ORCID identifier. The Editorial Board may use your personal information to process, review, communicate, and facilitate the editorial process.

If you want to become an editor or reviewer, please provide your surname, name and patronymic, academic degree, academic title, place of work (name, complete address), position, phone number, email address, ORCID, areas of interest or knowledge, list of publications for the last 5 years, a link to your profile on the official website, other information - upon request. The editors may use your personal information to contact you about your potential or actual role as an editor or reviewer, to invite and facilitate your review and processing of manuscripts, and to improve the review process and scientific communication.

 The editorial board strictly adheres to the privacy policy: we will not disclose or transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent.

 Suppose you submit a manuscript to us for possible publication. In that case, we will send the title and abstract of your manuscript to potential external reviewers to assess their interest in reviewing the entire content. If they agree to review your content, we will send them your full manuscript and any revisions and relevant comments you have provided without identifying you by name.

Submitted manuscripts are reviewed with due respect for authors' confidentiality, and authors entrust the editorial board with the results of their scientific work and creative efforts, on which their reputation and career may depend. Reviewers ensure the rights of authors to maintain confidentiality in the event of disclosure of personal and scientific information while reviewing manuscripts. Reviewers also enjoy the right to confidentiality, which the Editorial Board supports.

The Editorial Board does not disclose any information about manuscripts (including their receipt, content, status in the review process, reviewers' criticism, or final status) to persons other than authors and reviewers. This includes requests to use materials for legitimate professional and scientific activities.

 The Editorial Board constantly explains to reviewers that the manuscripts submitted for review are the privileged and private property of the authors. Therefore, reviewers and members of the Editorial Board respect authors' rights, do not publicly discuss their work, and do not appropriate their ideas before publishing their manuscripts. Reviewers are not allowed to make copies of manuscripts for their files or pass them on to other persons except with the editor's permission. Reviewers should return or destroy copies of manuscripts after submitting their expert opinions. The editors do not keep copies of rejected manuscripts.

Reviewers' comments are not published or otherwise made public without the consent of the reviewer, author, and editor.

The publisher may store your data to maintain publication standards, editorial and publishing processes, and ethical principles. Personal data includes your name, surname, institutional affiliation, position, and email address.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to processing personal information or request that the editorial office delete or change it.
