The editorial board of the scientific journal “Obraz” follows internationally recognized principles of publication ethics and academic integrity.
In its activities, the journal adheres to the recommendations and standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), as well as to the principles of open access formulated in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities.

- maintaining confidentiality and anonymity in the Author–Reviewer peer review process;
- providing authors with clear information on publication policies and requirements;
- guaranteeing freedom of scholarly expression for authors;
- respecting and protecting intellectual property rights;
- developing policies on the ethical use of artificial intelligence and AI-based technologies in scholarly publishing;
- establishing and maintaining transparent peer-review procedures;
- publishing corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies when necessary;
- providing authors with the right to appeal editorial decisions;
- maintaining professional, respectful, and tolerant communication in all editorial interactions.
