«Battle of Vaccines» and «Battle For the Vaccine» as a Metaphorical Field of Media Information Struggle

Із позицій критичного дискурс-аналізу розглянуто використання метафор «битва вакцин», «битва за вакцину» як відображення інформаційної боротьби в медійних дискурсивних практи- ках доби пандемії Covid-19. Метою розвідки є виявлення специфіки використання цих метафор у дискурсивних практиках українських медіа 2020–2021 рр. проти дискурсивних практик росій- ської пропаганди щодо просування вакцини «Спутник V». В українському медійному середовищі до метафоричного поля залучені дискурсивні стратегії різноаспектного критичного висвітлення процесів винайдення, випробування та виробництва вакцин, їхнього придбання та розподілу, а також організації процесу вакцинації. У російському інформаційному просторі домінують маніпу- лятивні пропагандистські технології з дискредитації вакцин західного виробництва та виправ- дання експансії російської федерації в інформаційному та геополітичному просторі. Інформація про вакцину «Спутник V» використовувалася керівництвом РФ як зброя гібридної війни, наділена значним мілітарним змістовим потенціалом.
