Анотація

​​Вступ. Ключову роль у створенні високоякісних матеріалів у журналістиці даних відіграє візуалізація. Саме від успішного способу подання інформації залежить зрозумілість, доступність та її «вірусність» для аудиторії. Своєрідним прикладом для наслідування та індикатором трендів у сфері журналістики даних є роботи переможців міжнародного конкурсу «The Sigma Data Journalism Awards».
Мета дослідження – виявити тенденції, що характерні для візуального оформлення сучасних проєктів дата-журналістики (на прикладі переможців міжнародного конкурсу «The Sigma Data Journalism Awards»).
Методи дослідження. Для досягнення поставленої мети використано метод контент-аналізу, порівняльного аналізу, методи синтезу та узагальнення, а також логічний та хронологічний.
Результати. Загалом було проаналізовано проєкти 21 переможця «The Sigma Data Journalism Awards» (винятково з точки зору візуалізації даних) за 2020 р., 2022 р., 2023 р. З’ясовано, що переможці активно використовують технології 3D-моделювання, що сприяють підвищенню ефективності комунікації з аудиторією та збільшенню її інтересу до матеріалів. Інноваційний засобом подання інформації у матеріалах є геймифікація, що збільшує інтерактивну складову візуальних об’єктів. Не втрачають актуальності в журналістиці даних такі візуальні засоби, як мапи, фотографії, діаграми та аудіозаписи, у той час як інфографіка використовується все рідше. Провідними редакціями, які активно створюють матеріали у сфері журналістики даних, є The New York Times, ABC News та Civio, водночас Propublica, Pointer та Texty.org.ua можна визначити як передові медіа, які спеціалізуються саме на аналізі та використанні даних. Визнаними журналістами у візуалізації журналістики даних, за результатами дослідження, є Р. Доттл, Я-Х. Лоу та Дж. Коберн.
Висновки. Отримані результати можуть стати корисними для подальших досліджень, що полягають у проведенні статистичного контент аналізу візуалізації журналістики даних у передових світових редакціях, визначених у цьому дослідженні (The New York Times, ABC news та Civio).
